During this art tour, we will explore two transformative periods in art history: Romanticism and Expressionism. 

Romanticism, which flourished in the late 18th and early19th centuries, celebrated intense emotion, nature’s sublime beauty and individual imagination. We will explore masterpieces by one of the most celebrated German artists Caspar David Friedrich.

Expressionism, emerging in the early 20th century, is characterised by its bold use of colour and form to evoke emotional experiences and inner turmoil. We will delve into the works of Edvard Munch and Emil Nolde.
