About

Welcome! I am Zita, an art historian and artist based in Hamburg, Germany.

My art is a deeply personal endeavor—an intimate dialogue between artist and canvas, mind and matter. Drawing inspiration from the intricate patterns of veins and blood cells, the organic shapes found in the nature, I seek to unearth the raw emotions, transformative power and resilience that lie beneath the surface.

My paintings serve as visual narratives, the inner turbulence experienced is communicated into the work, and it continues in the work. Through the medium acrylic on canvas, I seek to capture the raw energy and spontaneity of the abstract expressionism by employing vibrant colours, bold brushstrokes, subtle textures and delicate overlays. Each brushstroke became a lifeline, a means of translating the ineffable complexities of pain into tangible expressions of beauty. Each layer of paint and each mark is a testament to the intensity of human emotion.

Through abstract compositions that blur the boundaries between form and feeling, I invite viewers to contemplate the interconnectedness of life and the shared struggles of humanity.
